The Strength of Meditation and Counselling.

When we see the words “meditation” and “counselling", most would not think they can come together. However, when you look closely, the two have many similar traits that can help our mental health and well being. Examples include better clarity, greater memory retention, a higher sense of peace, increased immune system and more regulated digestion (venting out our negative thoughts). The focus on our mind getting to a place of having less confusing thoughts can be related to the idea of clearing our mind to help us solve our personal issues and think out of the box vs feeling stuck in the same place that could not be serving us. The trick with both meditation and counselling is to have faith that consistency, being open and having a stronger sense of trust and faith in the intentions of what we desire for our everyday living.
